Desktop Valcano

Materials Required

• 15ml Baking soda
• 15 ml dishwashing soap
• 60 ml vinegar
• food color (Red, yellow, orange) for lava color
• Clay or plaster or cardboard to make mountain model
• a bottle

Procedure

Make a mountain out of the plater or clay around the bottle with opening on the top and the centre of the mountain. Try to make it as natural as possible.

Put in the baking soda, food color, dish washing soap into the bottle. if this mix is thick add a little water to make it volcanic lava consistent for the liquid to flow.

Pout the vinegar into the bottle and observe the volcano. Boom!
