Earthworms
can replace ploughs. Yes earthworms can get the soil ready
for cultivation without the use of any plough.
Facts : Earthworms eat food equal to their body weight
each day. They produce equal amount of natural manure
(vermicompost) everyday. They can plough and fertilize
the soil.
Take a wooden box make holes at the bottom for drain.
Put clay at the bottom and potting soil on the top. Bury
vegetable and moist bread (food for earthworms) put earthworms
with them. Sprinkle water occasionally. Do not over feed.
After a 4 -5 weeks you will notice the soil is well mixed
and ready for plantation!
